Suzanne Kordesh; MPH, RD, B.S.
Ms. Kordesh currently works as a Metabolic Nutritionist/Project Coordinator for the Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. She has a broad based career spanning 20+ years as a clinician, counselor, educator, researcher and project manager across diverse range of health care and community settings including hospitals, managed care organizations, government agencies, and academic settings. Earlier, Ms Kordesh was a Project Manager, and a Senior Health Educator with Regional Health Education. Even earlier, she was Project Director for the Center for American Indian Research and Education at the University of California in Berkeley, CA where she coordinated day-to-day operation of 4 year $1.3M federally funded nutrition education research project at 8 California locations. Even earlier still, she was a Nutrition Education Specialist for the San Jose, Oakland, and Alameda Unified School Districts where she responsible for improving nutritional quality of School Lunch Program in 3 school districts by implementing federal nutrition guidelines into school menus/food service operations. Ms. Kordesh holds a MPH degree in Nutrition from the School of Public Health at the University of California in Berkeley, CA, and a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Medical Dietetics from the College of Associated Health Professions at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL She is registered with the American Dietetic Association.
