Adriana Carrillo-Iregui; M.D., A.B.

Dr. Carrillo-Iregui is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. Earlier she conducted her clinical training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology at Miami Children's Hospital, and at the Miller School of Medicine, respectively. Dr. Carrillo-Iregui is currently participating in the Scientific Research Training Program sponsored by the National Institute of Health. Her clinical research interests are in the area of obesity and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Carrillo-Iregui studies are focused in prevention and intervention with children and adolescents with obesity and metabolic syndrome. She holds a M.D. degree from "El Bosque" University in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Carrillo-Iregui holds a medical license in the state of Florida and is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology with the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Endocrine Society.
