Susan C. Brenner, Ed.D.; Bright Horizons
Dr. Brenner currently serves as Senior Vice President of Education and Development at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. Earlier, she served as its Senior Vice President of Operations. A primary focus of her professional work at Bright Horizons has been her passion to help children develop a positive self-image, make healthy nutritional choices and show respect for their bodies, habits that will last a lifetime. Dr. Brenner has been a key member of the Bright Horizons Family Solutions senior management team for over twenty years. She was instrumental in the development of back-up child care and had oversight responsibility for the first accredited back-up program. Dr. Brenner has written articles and made numerous presentations on early childhood health education, employer-sponsored child care, back-up care and other work/life solutions. She holds a doctorate degree in leadership and policy studies from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and a master's degree from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, CA.
