Dr. Patel currently is affiliated with the University Physicians Healthcare/University of Arizona as a Pediatric Endocrinologist in Tucson, AZ. She is also an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Earlier, she was a Fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology at both Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO and at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Even earlier, Dr. Patel was a Fellow at the Lutheran General Children's Hospital in the Pediatrics Residency Program in Park Ridge, IL She is a member of several Professional Societies including: the American Academy of Pediatrics; the American Diabetes Association; the Endocrine Society; the Lawson-Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society; and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Patel holds both a B.S. in Biochemistry and M.D. degrees from University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
